Frequently Asked Questions
First you must request an appointment online or by calling us. For Euthanasia requests, complete this form. From there, we will contact your previous veterinarian to obtain and review your pet's records. Once we receive your pet's information, we will determine if our practice suits your needs. We will work with you schedule to determine the best day and time and send you an estimated time of arrival. On the day of your appointment, we will provide services within or outside your home. We ask that any animals being seen are placed in an enclosed space in order to maintain efficiency. We reserve the right to leave the appointment if animals are not contained. Following the appointment, each pet seen will be given a personalized health report card.
We treat most animals, including dogs, cats, horses, cows, small ruminants, chickens and pocket pets. We do NOT treat monkeys, snakes, exotic birds or wildlife that require permits to own. However, we disclose that we are not experts or board-certified in exotic animal species. We reserve the right to leave an appointment if we determine a risk to ourselves or your pet. You may view our list of services here.
When making your appointment, we may suggest that the first visit be a "get-to-know-you" visit. During that visit, we will talk with you about how to best provide for your needs while only having positive interactions with your pet through toys or treats. We would delay any vaccinations or other potentially negative experiences for a following visit.
Our prices tend to be higher than brick-and-mortar practices due to travel time, fuel costs and extra time spent with each animal.
We do not provide emergency/urgent care, surgery, dentistry, radiology or hospitalization. However, we have partner clinics that can provide these services.
We give you a window of when we will arrive at your home. Sometimes previous appointments or travel may not go as planned. Once we determine a more accurate time of arrival, we will give you a text or call notice.
We generally serve cities in Middle Tennessee, including Mt. Pleasant, Columbia, Hampshire, Summertown and other surrounding areas.
House call veterinarians reduce the stress of seeking veterinary care by providing it in the comfort of your and your pet's home.
We accept cash, check (must provide valid driver's license number), debit/credit cards (MasterCard, Visa, Discover and American Express), and Care Credit.
